College Fantasy Football RB Rankings 2021: Top running backs, sleepers to know

It’s about that time! College fantasy football leagues are starting to form, and you’re probably starting to ponder  who should be on your big board come draft day. Well, CFBDynasty is here to help! They just released their full rankings by position for the 2021 CFB season. Drafting a running back is no easy task, so they’ve provided their top-50 RB rankings for Sporting News readers to help give you an idea of the best picks and the mid-round sleepers.

At the top spot is Iowa State running back Breece Hall, which is no surprise considering he led all of CFB in yards during the 2020 season. The unanimous All-American figures to raise his stock even further before declaring for the draft next year and will no doubt make big waves after another summer of improvement. He’s the No. 1 running back in this draft and arguably the No. 1 overall guy on draft day.

It won’t come as a shock that the SEC has the most running backs ranked inside the top 50 (8), but it might surprise you that the MAC and Mountain West Conference (6) each have more top-50 running backs than the ACC (3) and Big 12 (5). Don’t disregard players outside of the Power-5 conferences; it won’t end well for your fantasy team.
