College football schedule today: TV channels, start times for every Week 2 top 25 game

The opening weekend of college football featured several close calls and upset losses among the preseason top-25 teams. What will the new batch of college football’s elite have in store for them in Week 2?

One of the biggest matchup of the week will take place in Ames, Iowa, as No. 10 Iowa, fresh off dismantling previously ranked Indiana, heads to take on No. 9 Iowa State in the programs’ first-ever ranked matchup. The Cyclones may have been caught looking ahead to their in-state rivals last week when they held off an upset-minded Northern Iowa team 16-10 to start 1-0. Matt Campbell’s program will look to improve significantly in Saturday’s Cy-Hawk Series showdown, which gets the “College GameDay” treatment.

Elsewhere, look for No. 12 Oregon to rebound from a subpar showing against Fresno State when it takes on No. 3 Ohio State, which beat Minnesota 45-31 to start the season. The Buckeyes defense looks susceptible to giving up points, but that offense, led by first-year starter C.J. Stroud, is potent. The Buckeyes can’t overlook likely top-five pick Kayvon Thibodeaux, however.

Other interesting matchups include the old Southwest Conference rivalry between No. 15 Texas and Arkansas and the current rivalry between No. 21 Utah and BYU, fresh off an 11-1 season.

Below are all the top-25 games from Week 2, and how to watch them:
