Aaron Rodgers dodges questions on Packers future during The Match 4: ‘We’ll see’
Aaron Rodgers is a master at evading sacks — and questions.
The Packers quarterback teamed up with Bryson DeChambeau to face off against the pairing of Tom Brady and Phil Mickelson in “The Match 4” on Tuesday afternoon. While the fairway is different from the gridiron, Rodgers demonstrated an innate ability to wiggle out of tough situations.
When asked who’s going to be under center for Packers vs. Bears this year, Rodgers provided a total, complete non-answer, proving wholly unsatisfactory for those of us begging for any bit of update on his situation with the Packers.

“Yeah, I don’t know, BA (Brian Anderson), we’ll see,” Rodgers said.
When prodded again, this time more specifically from Anderson with the opening date of Packers vs. Saints, Rodgers played coy.
“How about Sept. 12, then. Will you go for that one?”
“What’s that one?” Rodgers said.
“That would be the opener against the Saints,” Anderson said.
“Ooooohhhh. Yeah, I don’t know, BA, we’ll see,” Rodgers repeated.
Really, Rodgers’ non-answers have been … par for the course.
Earlier in the week, Rodgers said that he’s been taking the offseason to focus on his mental health, specifically saying that he’s aiming to do things that make his mind and body happy. The reigning MVP seems to be earning his doctorate in the school of Less is More, as he’s avoided the team this offseason.
Rodgers and DeChambeau took home the win over Brady and Mickelson, but it’s increasingly looking like the only win the Packers QB might have as a member of Green Bay this year.
