PGA Championship schedule 2021: Day-by-day TV coverage to watch on ESPN, CBS & stream online
Crazy as it seems, we’re already at the second major event of the 2020-21 PGA Tour.
This time, golfers and fans alike will set their sights on the 2021 PGA Championship, which takes place at the Ocean Course at Kiawah Island Golf Resort, S.C., for the first time after a nine-year hiatus.
Rory McIlroy has emerged as an early favorite to win, for what would be just his third major golf victory since 2012, including the 2014 PGA and Open championships. That’s thanks to a Round 4 come-from-behind victory at the Wells Fargo Championship on May 9, where he overcame a two-stroke deficit — and some late-round bogeys — to walk away with a PGA tour win under his belt.

Other storylines to watch include Dustin Johnson, who has struggled since winning the 2020 Masters and FedEx Cup Playoffs. He didn’t make the cut at the Masters in April, but would love to turn things around at an event in which he finished second place in 2020.
He, Collin Morikawa (2020 PGA Championship), Bryson DeChambeau (2020 U.S. Open) and Hideki Matsuyama (2021 Masters) will look to become the first golfer to double up on a major championship since September 2020. Of course, there’s always the possibility someone wins their first major title of the season as well.
