Photos and Postcards From Sailing In Antiqua
Due to some confusion or the other (or perhaps it was rum punch related), I managed to miss the complimentary St James Club catamaran trip (St James Club is where I stayed in Antigua) but despite this, I knew I had to see Antigua by boat properly.
Thankfully, there are a lot of options available here (I’ll try to do a roundup post on this soon) and so, even though I’d had very little sleep the night before (it was the night of this party), I woke up uncharacteristically early (and uncharacteristically early) for my boat trip around the island.
The boat left from St John’s which is a 30 minute drive or thereabouts from the hotel hence the early wake up but as soon as we left, it’s safe to say my morning grogginess disappeared quite quickly.
I could bore you with my mundane tales of my over indulgence on more rum punch (I
choose to never learn), the deliciousness of the lobster lunch or how everything descended into a conga party by the end but instead, I’m gonna go with a series of photos (some taken on the GoPro – no prizes for guessing which they are) and leave you with a burning question – what do you think of Antigua so far? (Unless you’ve been in which case – still the same question – what did you think?) 🙂
Seriously, how beautiful is this place???
